A Timber camper van bed kit combines a Bi-Slide bed platform and two wheel well cabinets in one system for high-roof Mercedes Sprinter 144 and 170 and Ford Transit 148 and 148 EL vans. Half of the 66-inch bed slides into the other half, so you get a full bed at night and open floor space during the day. The wheel well cabinets turn the most awkward space in a van into storage, with latching compartments and open cubbies sized for a wheel well water tank or a portable power station. Frames are 3/4-inch Baltic birch with stainless marine latches and Blum soft-close hinges, in natural birch or white, green and blue finishes. Add the optional 5-inch split mattress, which stacks when the bed is stowed, or a slide-out tray rated to 500 lbs for the garage underneath. Bed kits ship free by freight.
