The short answer
There are three ways to get a Timber van without hunting for a chassis yourself: buy a finished van from our inventory, order a conversion and let us source the van (Camp from $31,485, Rambler from $34,485), or bring your own high-roof cargo van for the same conversion at the same price. A finished Camp including the chassis typically lands in the $80,000–$95,000 range.
Some people want a project. Some people want to go camping this weekend. Both are completely valid, and we love you either way — but if you are in the second camp, this one is for you.
Here is every way to get a Timber van without having to go find a van first.
Option 1: Buy one that is already finished
Our Vans for Sale page is the fastest path. These are complete, titled, keys-in-hand builds. Inventory cycles regularly across Transits, Sprinters, and ProMasters.
Best for: people with a trip already on the calendar.
Option 2: Order a conversion and let us source the chassis
This is the sweet spot for most people. You pick the model and options; we find and buy the van. No hunting dealer inventory, no wondering whether you ordered the right roof height.
| Camp | Rambler | |
|---|---|---|
| Starting at | $31,485 | $34,485 |
| Sprinter 144" / 170" | Yes | Yes |
| Transit 148" / 148" EL | Yes | Yes |
| ProMaster 159" | Yes | — |
| Electrical with 200W solar | Yes | Yes |
| 20-gallon fresh water | Yes | Yes |
| Marine fridge / freezer | Yes | Yes |
| Telescoping bed | Yes | Yes |
| Heater and fan | Yes | Yes |
| Rear couch | — | Yes |
| Lagun table | — | Yes |
| Exterior fold-down table | — | Yes |
Both are Baltic birch throughout. The Rambler is the Camp plus a rear couch, a Lagun table, and an exterior fold-down table for cooking outside — which is where you should be cooking anyway.
One thing that is not on the build tool yet: we also do a mid-roof Transit Rambler. We are happy to build one, so just ask.
Option 3: Bring your own van
Already own the chassis? Same conversions, same prices, professionally installed. The only requirement is that it is a high-roof cargo configuration.
What it costs, all in
A conversion price plus a van typically lands a finished Camp somewhere in the $80,000–$95,000 range, depending on chassis, model year, and drivetrain. Current finished vans are listed with full pricing on the Vans for Sale page, so you can check today’s numbers rather than trusting a range.
